Scholarship

Each year, a $1000 scholarship will be given to a Rowan County Firefighter or family member of the firefighter.    The firefighter must meet the following requirements:

*Rowan County Firefighter or child of a Rowan County Firefighter

*Volunteer or professional fire department member proceeding to post-secondary education in a two year or four year degree.

*Served a minimum of one year as a member of any fire department in Rowan County.

*Member in good standing as certified by the Chief or his designee as of the date of application and until scholarship is awarded.
